Transfer Putty Settings across computers

 

I have come across the situation where in I have to enter more than 20 entries of Putty Session. I thought of exporting the setting from existing users rather manually keying in.  Here goes the solution it worked for me;

1. Export this registry key to a file.Putty stores its settings in the Windows registry. To save a backup of your Putty settings,
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimonTatham

2. To import your saved PuTTy configuration on any other Windows computer simply copy your exported registry key, right click on the file and click "Merge"
